Washers Does Not Spin Water Out Of Clothes

After the clothes go thorugh the cycle and it's "DONE" I open the washer and the clothes are full of water. I try to run the spin cycle to get the water out and it doesn't work

Open  the lid and look at the white circle agitator on the bottom of the basket. Grap and see if you can spin it clockwise and countercclockwise, if you can this tells me the splines on the basket that goes over the shaft of the motor are stripped out. The spline are made of only plastic. There is a decorative plastic cap in the center that you can pop off with a screwdriver and you will see a 1/2 bolt you can take off. Then you grap the agitator and start working back and forth pulling it up and out. It may take a couple of minutes but it will pop off. Look in the center (upside down) and I think you will see all the splines are ground smooth that were suppose to fit over the shaft. I replaced mine 2 times already. Good luck.
