Unable To End The Excel Process

I am unable to end the excel process. When i close the excel file, it just closes the window and when i went to tak manager i can see the excel.exe process running. I am unable to end this process. I am restarting my computer everytime to end this process. Please help.

Hi,

Go to command prompt and type Taskkill /F /IM process name. Also make sure you are not connecting to the excel file that was located in network. This may be the cause for your issue. Please try and let me if it helps.

Just use the "task mananger". Right click the task bar and select task mananger,highlight your excel and click on "End process"
