Transmission

i cant locate the transmission pan to drain the fluid

Transmission pans are located under the vehicle near the oil pan. They are often square and have a ribbed pattern on them. Most Galants have a tranny pan under the transaxle, but I think there are some that are vertical on the transaxle and face out toward the radiator.
