Purchased Game Simply Doesn't Work.

I paid $22 bucks for Minecraft and the game simply doesn't work. I cannot download the "forge" or any of the "Mods". My computer is well within required specs but nothing works on this game. There is no tech support or even someway to communicate with the company and work out these issues. My child wants the game and I don't mind paying for it, but I want it to work, Could someone please help me out here.Thanks, Danny

Sorry for your problems. If you haven't yet done so, you may want to reinstall: go to http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Tutorials/Minecraft.... Or review the troubleshooting links at https://help.mojang.com/, and/or the update links at https://minecraft.net/. But if as you say nothing works, it is very likely a defective sample and if you're determined that your child have it, you will probably want to return it to the retailer for replacement.

Regarding communication with the company: I can find no contact information for Mojang but it appears that production responsibility may be shared with Lego, which you may reach at 800-838-9647. It's likely that the product's warranty will apply.
