Solid Red Lights On Top Of Projector

Red solid lights on top of projector, window on the side of the projector says this, Warning: lamp 1 is in overtime. Both lamps are one month old. We didn't know how to reset the lamp timer when we changed the lamps. The movie looks good and both lamps are lit. We can play the film but with solid red lights on top. Hi,

my name is Jason and have been working with electronics for over 5 years about now. This likely means that there is a problem with the light fuses. It is risky to continue to use the projector even though it looks clear with no visible issues. This poses a 100 percent fire hazard and what will end up happening is the bulb will blow. The red light on the projector means that the light is overheating. If the light is being replaced and nothing is changing it is likely the fuses in the projector. After you change the lamps, the lamp usage must be reset to zero in order to clear the red lights on top of the projector. This procedure is done using the keypad/display panel on the projector.
