My N7-208 Wil Not Start When Plugged In

My N7-208 does not start or have any indication of life when plugged in to power with the adapter supplied. Received as a gift about 2 xmas's ago and just put it away til now. Do you have suggestions to activate my viewer?

Hi. The manual is available here http://www.helpowl.com/manuals/Nextar/N7208/103994 just so there is nothing of the first-time setup you are missing. Unfortunately, the frame or the adapter may be defect.
