Automatic Transmission Shifter Problem 99 Altima

My Nissan Altima will not reverse or drive when I use the shifter. Its not stuck at all. it moves very loosely and will not lock into place. The car stays in park no matter what I shift to. It will not reverse, drive, or go neutral. What is wrong with my car? Please Help!

Could be a blown shift lock solenoid' do also check and replace any blown fuse. See transmission troubleshooting here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BqyUIN1EWvI
