Problem - 2005 Maxima & The Ignition Locking Up When Trying To Start.

Problem w/my 2005 Maxima re: ignition lock-up that seems to be associated with Steering Column.  Ignition will not turn and stays in LOCK POSITION.  IF you turn steering wheel very hard and/or move it a lot (when in locked position) it seems to release something and then Car will start.Dealership has no knowledge of a problem like this  My cell ph 865-607-7322 Knoxville, TN
