Norditrack Cx 925 Console

The battery terminals on the console of my Norditrack CX 925 Elliptical corroded when batteries were left out for a long time to the point that the terminals are no longer working. Is it possible to convert this console using A/C electric power with an adaptor maybe instead of this D batteries. The battery powered console part replacement alone cost more than $300.
