Changing The Toner Cartridge

I have a new OKI MB492 and have just replaced the Toner for the first time, with a genuine cartridge. However, on the Home screen it still says Toner Empty and I cannot print. I am sure I have put the Toner in correctly.I did take the drum out to put it in, would this make a difference ?

Home screen says Toner Empty because the toner cartridge is empty. To fix this, replace it with a new toner cartridge.
