Can You Help Me Locate The Main Gas Shut Off Valve In My House?
I'm in Cherry Hill, NJ. Gas comes in underground and through a large tub-like thing in my basement, which I assume is the meter. I see a metal thing built into the pipe on the street side of the meter which could be a valve, but you'd need a wrench and a long reach to get to it. I don't see anything on the house side of the meter. Is it possible we don't have a house side shut off valve, or that the valve is in the meter?
