My Tv Turns On Flashes Blurred Screen Then Powers Off What Can I Do To Fix This
My pioneer elite pro 1010 JD plasma tv powers on screen comes on blurred then powers off. I really love this tv what can I do to fix this issue so that it's not to costly

There are several reasons for a TV to turn on then immediately turn off. Recently for the past 2-3 years our TV set has been a small computer in itself that at times it hangs or freezes. And one simple way to fix this problem is to reset the unit by unplugging it from the AC wall oultet for a a couple of minutes to several hours depending on the brand and model. Another reason is overheating caused by poor ventilation within the TV set. Check air vent holes and clean them. Yet another reason is a component has failed causing abnormality in one of the circuits and once this detected by the TVs' "computer" it forces it to shutdown to prevent further damage to associated circuits. The first 2 steps to fix the problem is easily DIYable, but the last reason is also DIYable depending on your skill and knowledge in electronics.
