I Want To Close My Email With Road Runner. I Want To Continue With My Outlook Ex

Hello Blanche, if road runner is the email account that you would like to continue using in outlook express then i wouldnt suggest deleting the account. Outlook Express is an email client which allows you to manage your email account offline. 

To delete emails check box next to email and scroll down and hit shift key to delete multiple emails at a time. More info here .

My recommendation to help you end the battle of deleting emails in outlook and online (roadrunner) is to have your outlook be your primary source of managing your roadrunner email account. You can have outlook delete the emails off the roadrunner server which will allow you to delete the email once vs on outlook and roadrunner . 

Follow these steps:

• Open Outlook Express
• Select Tools/Accounts
• Click Mail Tab , Highlight your Account and click Properties button.
• Click on the Advanced tab
• In the Delivery section, select the checkbox to "Leave of copy of messages on server."
• Select the appropriate checkbox to delete the messages from the server after a certain number of days, or until the messages are deleted from the Deleted Items in Outlook Express.
