Barcode Scanner
How do I program a metro logic ms7120 barcode scanner to my er-a410 register? Thank you

It is one of the most complicated setups on any cash register. The dealer should have done this for you but if you want to try yourself, you will need to use the scanner programming manual to set the interace to RS232. Set the baud rate, stop bits, parity, data bits. Set the types of codes you will scan (UPC or EAN types etc) in your country. Set the cash register port to the same rs232 settings as the scanner. Make sure you have the Sharp RS232 cable on the end of the scanner cable to adapt to Sharp pin config. Now hopefully you will have scanner comms. Good luck.
