Audio Output

I am trying to connect a Vizio soundbar to my Sharp lc-42sb45ut Flat screen. I have connected it to the external audio output. I have tried to change the audio settings on the TV but I still cannot get any sound out of the bar

The audio output jacks are unamplified so they will not work. You will need to open up the set and hook the wires to the existing speakers (take the original out of the circuit). Any shop could modify it for you.
