Why Do I Get A Line Error

I am faxing to an 888# to e-mail. It always worked very well. NOW, after a few pages I get a line erroe note and it cuts of. WHY

Hello angelikanoblet a line error occurs when your fax machine cannot communicate correctly with the other fax machine. The error is usually due to a problem on the phone line. Unplug the fax machine from power and allow it to stay for a while, then plug it back and try faxing again.
