Slingbox Networking

we have a sling box solo and are using the sling devices to make a network in the house for the ease of using the sling box I called customer service today and They would not answer my question unless I paid 30.00 the sling box was installed and registered on June 13 and I understand to a degree the 90 day policy but if you add new equiptment and are having trouble they should listen to you and at least try to help you with the new equiptment set up. especially if it is new sling equiptment.  I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told unless I paid the 30 dollars I could not speak with one.  I just want to know why the sling networking devices worked once and now they don't.
