If your Sony RMT-AH100U remote and the soundbar's power button are both not able to turn off the system, you may need to try a few troubleshooting steps:

1. Unplug the soundbar from the power source: Sometimes, the soundbar may get stuck and refuse to turn off due to a power surge or glitch. Unplugging it from the power source for a few minutes may reset the system and allow it to turn off normally.

2. Check the batteries in your remote: If your remote's batteries are low, it may not have enough power to send a signal to turn off the soundbar. Replace the batteries in the remote and try again.

3. Perform a factory reset: If the soundbar is still not turning off, perform a factory reset. To do this, refer to the user manual and follow the instructions carefully. This will erase all settings and restore the soundbar to its original settings.

4. Contact Sony support: If none of these steps work, it's possible there may be a hardware issue with the soundbar. Contact Sony support for assistance with troubleshooting the issue further or to arrange for a repair or replacement.

The Sony RMT-AH100U remote control can be reset by following these steps:
  1. Remove the batteries from the remote control.
  2. Press and hold any button on the remote control for at least 20 seconds to discharge any remaining power.
  3. Reinsert the batteries into the remote control, making sure that they are inserted correctly.
  4. Press and hold the "Power" button and the "Enter" button at the same time for at least 3 seconds.
  5. The remote control will now be reset to its factory settings.

If this method does not work, you may need to refer to the user manual for your Sony RMT-AH100U remote control or contact Sony customer support for further assistance.
