How does the Stamps.com scale software work?

Installation is as easy as plugging in the scale via USB. Your computer should recognize the scale from there.
Once plugged in, you will only need to open the Stamps.com software. You should then notice that when you go to prepare postage or shipping labels, you can click "auto" next to where you would normally enter in a weight.
Once "auto" is checked, the weights from your scale will automatically enter into the Stamps.com software and postage values will automatically be updated and shown to you based on the new weights.
As you put different items onto the scale, you will notice the weights changing in the Stamps.com system.
Alternatively, we also offer scales that have digital displays. These work as easily as a bathroom scale, but with readings that are accurate to .1 oz.
Currently, we offer a free 5lb scale to all new customers (pay only S&H).
