Fs450 Technical Enquiry
When last serviced my Stihl dealer installed a new priming plunger on my FS450. The plunger never worked because, as it turns out, the hose had detached from the rear of the plunger. I recently returned the machine to the dealer with starting problems and was told that there was internal damage due to it "running lean". They speculated it was "sucking air" into the system. Could the configuration of the fuel plumbing implicate the detached plunger hose in this problem? many thanks for your prompt assistance. Nick Taylor
