To turn on the automatic tone arm return feature on the TEAC GF-550 turntable, please follow these steps:

1. Locate the power switch: Find the power switch on the turntable. It is usually located on the front or side of the unit. Switch it to the "ON" position.

2. Set the tone arm: Lift the tone arm and move it towards the spindle. Gently place the stylus needle on the record, ensuring it is properly aligned.

3. Engage the auto return function: Look for a switch or button labeled "Auto Return" or "Auto Stop" on the turntable's front or side panel. Switch it or press it to activate the function.

4. Test the auto return: Once the auto return feature is activated, play a record and allow it to play until the end. The tone arm should automatically lift from the record and return to its resting position.

If it doesn't work, ensure that the tone arm is not hindered by any obstructions and that the turntable is properly maintained. Remember to consult the user manual of your specific TEAC GF-550 turntable for detailed instructions and any model-specific differences.

I hope this is helpful? PLEASE "ACCEPT" and mark it "HELPFUL" to complement my little effort. Hope to bring you more detailed answers.
