Follow Up On Cancellation

I contacted most of you popular websites and none have a record of the reservation. I checked the dates and hotel and Priceline was listed as the provider, they too do not have a reservation. I cancelled the reservation with the hotel they gave me a cancellation number. Our credit card was not charged because we were to pay at the hotel. Cancellation was good until January 27th. Will the booking site still charge me if I already cancelled with the hotel. Marne Devillie
