Zanussi Dishwasher Not Starting

all the lights are working on my dishwasher but it won't turn on

Try the following:

Check that there are no items such as silverware stuck between the door seal on the dishwasher door and the tub of the dishwasher. This will cause the door to not shut or seal properly.
Check the racks for items that may be stuck and protruding. Remove any item that is protruding outside the rack.
Check for large food particles around the door seal. Large items could cause the door to not shut or seal properly.

If the problem persists, you may need to obtain professional help.

If your dishwasher won't start, the problem could be the door latch or door latch switches. The door latch assembly is used to hold the door closed during the cycle to prevent water from leaking and it also incorporates the door latch switches that supply power to the dishwasher controls.
