Travellers Checks In Euro Currency

I want to purchase Euro currency Amex travellers checks, but I do not have a service center near me in Santa Fe, New Mexico and I am not a BofA customer?  I am traveling to off the beaten track places in Italy and want to have checks in the local currency.  Can you help?
