Payment Method

Can I buy a game by phone instead of giving credit card info online? If I buy a game, why does it say I will be billed $6.99 after first month? How is this "owning it"?

You can buy games through the Big Fish Games app on most smart phones, however, you will still be asked provide a credit card or confirm a Pay Pal account, if applicable in order to register on their Gaming site to make a purchase.

As for the game, you only purchase each game once and it is yours to play with no time restrictions, install on another device if you like, etc. In other words, it is yours to keep.

And last but not least, the $6.99 monthly charge is because when you sign up, provide your information, download and install your first game, you also agree to join the Big Fish Games Club Membership. And, yes it pays to read the fine print, as members are billed $6.99 a month. Unless cancelled before the next billing cycle on your account.

HOWEVER, before getting discouraged (or otherwise) This would work for you if you are a big gaming  type of person who wants to purchase a lot of games Reason: As long as you are a paid member you will receive a "Game Token" which is the equivalent to the value of a standard game ($6.99), excluding Collectors Editions. And can be turned in at any time you want to purchase a game. So, You can use the token that same month or let these tokens build up in your account each month to use later. They don't expire and even if you cancel your membership at a later date, the tokens will still remain in your "standard Account" to use when you want.

NOTE: After your initial registration on the website, you can log onto your standard Big Fish Games Account to purchase as many future games as you like without the worry of becoming a club member again, as this only occurs when you first open an account with them.

And finally, If you do decide to purchase a game through Big Fish Games and do not want to be charged a month later, you can just go to your Big Fish Games account and cancel membership a few days before the next billing date.
