Is cha cha no longer a company, I tried to apply and the websites is no where to be found?

ChaCha did not have the infrastructure (human or database) to keep up with the competition. They also lacked a compelling UI. There is a pretty interesting alternative today that contains bits of ChaCha mixed with modern Q&A. It's called Vectr, found at http://www.vectrapp.com.
