Changing Meter From In Side House To Outside House

We are a solar photovoltaic company. We have a customer who wants to install solar on their home. They currently have a meter in their basement and want the meter moved to the outside of the house. Is this something that ComEd will do or shall we do it? We can do it but do not want to sidestep ComEd. At the time of installing meter outside we will need to have net meter for solar recordings.
