I Turned On The Switch It Started To Power Up The Washer 2000 Plus But Then Died

I turned on the switch it stared to work then died out. Won't turn on I hit the reset button but it didn't help. It definitely has power to it. I also tried plugging it directly into the outlet.

If the Dirt Devil ND40015 pressure washer started to power up but then died, there are a few things that you can check to troubleshoot the issue:
  1. Power source: Make sure that the power source you are using is functional and that the power cord is properly plugged in. You can test the outlet by plugging in another device or using a circuit tester to confirm that it is working.
  2. Overheating: If the pressure washer overheats, it may automatically shut off to prevent damage. Wait for the unit to cool down before trying to turn it back on.
  3. Water supply: Check that the water supply to the pressure washer is turned on and that the hose is not kinked or obstructed.
  4. Trigger gun: The trigger gun may be stuck in the closed position, preventing water flow and causing the pressure washer to shut off. Check the trigger gun and make sure it is not stuck.
  5. Pump issues: The pressure washer may have a problem with the pump, such as low oil, a clogged filter, or a damaged valve. Refer to the user manual for troubleshooting tips or contact Dirt Devil customer support for further assistance.

If none of these solutions work, it may be necessary to take the pressure washer to a qualified repair technician for further diagnosis and repair.
