2004 Dodge Neon Vibration Problems
I have a 2004 dodge neon sxt 5 speed manual 2.0 liter transmission. Upon acceleration the whole front end sounds like it is going to fall apart. It is worse when it's cold and accelerating up hils. I have had the following replaced over the last 3 weeks: upper and lower motor mounts, transaxle mount, both control arm bushings, and the driver's side CV shaft. It seems to have gotten worse since these things have been replaced. I have had transmission mechanics that keep insisting that it has to be a mount somewhere that is allowing the motor to vibrate against something, others have suggested the other cv shaft is bad, and still another mechanic thinks it is the bearings that are in the transmission where the left cv shaft goes into the transmission. I really don't know what to think, I have spent quite a bit of money and so far no one really knows what the problem could be. Maybe somewhere here has a suggestion.
