Left Turn Signal Flashes Quickly On Occasion

The left turn signal on my 2008 dodge magnum flashes very fast but not always. When it flashes at regular speed both front and rear bulbs flash. When it flashes fast the front bulb works but the rear does'nt. I've tried new bulbs with the same results.The right turn signals work correctly all of the time. When the car is first started it seems the turn signal works fine for a few seconds then gets fast.What's up?
