Oh no! I understand how frustrating it can be when your Dynex DX-40L261A12 TV won't turn on and you're hearing a clicking sound while the standby light is on. Let's try a few troubleshooting steps to see if we can resolve the issue:

First, unplug the TV from the power outlet and wait for about 5 minutes. This will allow any residual power to discharge and reset the internal components.

While the TV is unplugged, check all the cables and connections. Make sure they are securely plugged in and there are no loose or damaged cables.

After the waiting period, plug the TV back into the power outlet.

Press the power button on the TV or the remote control and see if it turns on. Pay attention to any changes in the behavior of the TV, such as the clicking sound or the standby light.

If the issue persists, try a different power outlet in case there's a problem with the current outlet.

If none of the above steps work, it's possible that there might be a hardware issue with the TV that requires professional repair. In such cases, it's best to contact Dynex customer support or a certified technician for further assistance.

Please note that these troubleshooting steps are general recommendations and may not solve the issue in every case. The specific solution may vary based on the underlying cause of the problem.

I hope these steps help you in resolving the issue with your Dynex DX-40L261A12 TV. If the problem persists, don't hesitate to reach out to Dynex customer support for further guidance and assistance.
