Problem?

What do you do if your car wAs going 35 to 40 mph and in accident you gear it from 4th to 1st gear but car didn't turned off just a loud clack or bang sound and the car just doesnt get transmission clutch no more just turns on and foot pedal is all the way down so the clutch is pedal is loose is that means you need a new clutch or more problems on the car?
