Hi, sc400 is a process control error. The most common solution is to remove the all-in-one toner cartridge, check the contacts on the cartridge and on the machine, clean them if necessary, and reinstall the cartridge.

Must clean a "Toner Dirty Sensor"

Valid for other models, in my case S232SF. Answer in Ricoh Support page:

Lift out the rearmost print cartridge.
Slide the Toner Density Sensor lever once to the left.
Carefully insert the print cartridge removed in step 2 vertically.

I also use compressed air instead of cloth. Worked for me.Regards,Ivan
