Open the hood. Locate and carefully remove the engine oil level indicator (dipstick). • 4.0L V6 engines ADD 1 QT FULL • 5.0L V8 engine MIN MAX 6. DO NOT ADD OIL. 206 Insert the indicator fully, then remove it again. • If the oil level is between the ADD and FULL marks (4.0L engines) or between the MIN and MAX marks (5.0L engine), the oil level is acceptable.
