In cold weather, it may cause a clattering noise from two-wheel drive to four-wheel drive. An incomplete shift may be necessary to reduce speed or stop the vehicle in four-wheel drive to twowheel drive as described. 5-20 Starting and driving Continued use of fourwheel drive while driving, do not stop the noise. Shift to stop shift lever movement midway. Drive in order to shift from the autolocking hubs. When shifting into or out of the vehicle with this noise may damage the hub lock.
