A guitar in need of necessary adjustments will not be covered under the Fender warranty. 20 Set-up A 12-string tuned at standard pitch generates a lot of tension on the neck, and should be monitored regularly for the possible need of an adjustment that is ignored may develop permanent problems. (See page 26) Please Note: Warping of the neck caused by the neglect of truss rod adjustments to counteract this tension.
