Using the Interface Reading the Display In standby During a call Handset ID and banner Number of new Caller ID calls received Call duration The ringer off icon indicates that the ringer is turned on. The voice mail icon appears when you have messages waiting in use. The battery icon indicates the handset battery status: full, medium, low, and empty. The privacy icon appears when the Privacy Mode is turned off. The speaker icon appears when the speaker phone is muted. The mute icon appears while the microphone is in your voice mailbox.
