Refused To Sell Item We Wanted B/c It Rung Up W/some Code Issue.

We (10 yr. old neice & I) found item we loved took it to register along with a few other things. When they rung the item up (swimming toy. Flippers and snorkel) on the register it came up with some code that caused the acting manager to say they will not sell item to me. The item had a price tag hanging from a string and that said $6. 49. We really wanted that item. Today was Labor Day. Today was the only day my niece would have gotten to use this toy before we closed the pool. The whole incident angered me. Never did anyone refuse to sell me something that was displayed in their store for sale. The store where this incident happened was and Limerick Pennsylvania 19468. Your best course is to complain to corporate: try the corporate contact information here--http://www.corporateofficeowl.com/aldi/Corporate%20Office. Do not reference the law, but politely state the facts. Written complaints are usually most effective.
