Sound And Images Won't Work.

I have just bought this monitor about a few days ago online and got on Monday. Everything went great connected it to my laptop and I had no problems at all with it! Until I realised when I was on YouTube no sound was coming out of my monitor itself, I then plugged my iPhone and the same no image and no sound I even plugged everything in no luck scan someone tell me what's going on please. The monitor itself is working Perfect.

just select only hdmi in the monitor menu. iphone and hdmi wont work for hdmi sound.
