There are several ways to deal with calls to your home phone when you're unavailable. If you have already set your forwarding numbers in your online U-verse account, you do not need to enter them again by phone.
Note: No Answer Call Forwarding, Busy Call Forwarding, and Safe Call Forwarding must be turned on for you to receive voice mail in your AT&T U-verse Messaging mailbox.
Call Forwarding
Send incoming calls to another number
To activate by phone, press *72, enter a forwarding number if one is not already set, then press #
To deactivate, press *73#
No Answer Call Forwarding
Send missed calls to voice mail or another phone number
To activate by phone, press *92, enter a forwarding number, then press #
To deactivate, press *93#
Busy Call Forwarding
Forward incoming calls to voice mail or another number when the line is busy
To activate by phone, press *90, enter a forwarding number, then press #
To deactivate, press *91#
Safe Call Forwarding
Forward incoming calls to voice mail or another number during a power outage (if battery backup is exhausted) or network outage
To activate by phone, press *372, enter a forwarding number, then press #
To deactivate, press *373# (All stored numbers will be lost upon deactivation)
Exclusive Call Forwarding
Forward select calls to another number
All others go to voice mail. Choose up to 20 numbers in your online U-verse account
To activate by phone, press *63#
To deactivate, press *83# Note: All stored numbers will be lost upon deactivation
