The Guide Screen Does Not Fit On My Screen When In 1080..any Solutions?

tv is set to 16:9 aspect. Att U-verse box is set to 1080. everything is fine but when on the "guide" screen it does not fit. I read many forums about the exact same problem and stil have yet to find a solid solution
