AT&T U-verse Media Share can be somewhat difficult to 'hook-up' but your can begin by

Making sure that your computer has Windows Media Player 11 or higher: http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=8163
Next shut down all open programs because you will be advised to do so before you run the AT&T download. You can always print this page but not until you use the link.
Next you can go to AT&T support to follow the instructions to download Media Share - you will want to run that program in order to share your media files on U-verse TV. I would mention that I couldn't get their video to run from that page but that's not much of a surprise. http://www.att.com/esupport/article.jsp?sid=KB401476#fbid=Wqa92huauST On this page you will find the download link.
You might want to keep a paper and pen handy to write down the step by step instructions throughout the download process. You'll have some decisions to make once the download is complete.
To enable Media Sharing on you AT&T receiver(s) for each TV receiver use the MENU button from the specific remote using OK to select as you go.
Then scroll across the top of the page for INTERACTIVE and on to Media Share which allows your AT&T receiver(s) to be reorganized by the Media Sharing computer(s)
I didn't enjoy the process and frankly I'm not sure how well it is working. I only did it to share photos on a larger screen with my vision impaired spouse. I don't enjoy providing non-specific access to my files as some are scanned docs and not photos but...
