How Do I Get Service For My Iphone 4s Which I Got Through Ebay

i just brought a iphone 4s for my friend and i need service. i do not know where i can get from i brought it from ebay , and ebay got from a company callef rogers. and i do not know where i can get service at , i wonder can i get through at&t , the sim card said at&t when i looked at it before i took it to a cricket retailer.
