My Acer Stop Working?

I have this acer (2 years old), that in the past gave me a beep (somebody told me that this beep signal some error in the computer). But now, when i press the power button it start working (apparently) but the only thing that I got is a black screen and like 1 or 2 minutes later it power off by itself. Can somebody tell me what is wrong with the laptop?

since you having a beep that indicates that something is not working but if you having problem with you display it is most probably you graphics card
