User Account Reset Name
Well I got give a acer Aspire 5100 from a friend and i was deeing is there any way to change the login account user name and password? And how can I do that?

The easiest way is to get the information to log on from the person you got it from.
If you're logged in, open the Control Panel and click on the Users icon to edit accounts, both names and passwords.
The easiest way to change the password for the logged on account is to hit CTRL-ALT-DEL and click the "Change Password " option.
You can also right click My Computer and select Manage. Then drill down to Users and Groups and edit the users there.
If you need to hack the admin account you'll need to create a CD to do that. The image you can get from this web site can reset any Windows password. http://www.pogostick.net/~pnh/ntpasswd/
