I Have Acer X1160p Dlp. Fan Fail!
What is the reason of automatic turn off and with a fan fail notice. I cheek the fan and its working and the fan is still also working. But it always automatic turned off. why?

I suspect the problem is with the PWM driver supplying 12 V to the fan. If both fan are not rotating, it is probably with the board supplying 12v to the fans.Measure with Voltmeter.Even you use external power to turn on the fan, it will still go to off because it has a sensor. I'll give an update as soon I finished mine.
Latest findings: if you're familiar with electronics component level troubleshooting find for the smd components such as Linear Fan Driver for 12V DC Fan LOW DROP FIXED AND ADJUSTABLE POSITIVEVOLTAGE REGULATORS.Its 99% as the cause of the problem if fans are still good while tested separately.
