Guitar Hero Live Controller Looks Like It Might Cause Damage To The Hands.

I have concerns that the controller may cause too much pain for me to be able to play the game more than a couple songs at a time because my wrist and pinky finger will be stationary because I will not have to reach back and forth to hit the buttons and I will only be using three fingers rather than 4, which will put stress on the carpal/metacarpal bones. I think it is important to work out all those joints in the hand while playing this or it could cause bad problems with carpal-tunnel for many people. Will there be a controller that could have 8 buttons or a different layout for the people who may experience pain from the three finger stationary layout?
