Problem Downloading Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare3 Elite Content.

I purchased a Call of Duty Elite premium subscription yesterday for use with Moder Warefare 3. I am able to acces all premium features on Elite however i can not Download the Elite content, i.e. the new maps. When i start the game on go to store i press on "Download Elite Content" and nothing happens the box just disappears, i have learned from online support forums i am not the only person with this issue.I should also mention i have read all of your support material onthis subject and have carryed out all of the sudjested actions and nothing works. Hope you can help. (Added not: I have been intouch with XBOX and they maintain it is an Activision issue.)
