when I hit app mode on the receiver than I open a app on my phone nothing happens

To avoid potential issues, accounts (e.g., Gmail, email, etc.) should be set up after activating the device (see Related Topics).

Tap the appropriate language then tap Next (located in the lower-right).
- English
- Espanol
Tap Activate (located in the lower-right).
Listen to the instructions then select 1 when prompted.
To enable the Speakerphone, tap Speaker (located at the bottom).
Stay on the line until activation confirmation is heard.
From the Phone is activated screen, tap Next.
To restore data (e.g. contacts) using Backup Assistant, tap Skip.
From the Google account screen, tap Skip.
From the Setup email account screen, tap Skip.
From the Privacy caution screen, tap Next.
Configure the following location settings then tap Next.
If presented, tap Agree.
Enabled when a check mark is present.
- VZW Location Services
- Standalone GPS Services
- Google Location Services
From the Complete setup screen, tap Done.
