Sending Mail From Address Book

As of yesterday, when I send an email from aol, the contact I select doesn't automatically fill in after I put in first letter(s) of contact name/email address. So choosing a contact from my (large) address book is a several-step process -- unlike sending mail much more efficiently from gmail or yahoo (or former aol). Am I missing something here? Thx.
